Study Description
Objectives
This freight service and investment study is designed to identify the existing freight facilities in the NASTO region and their characteristics; describe the current condition of the freight transportation infrastructure in the region and the freight operations occurring on that infrastructure; outline the state and federal regulations which govern freight movements within the region; identify key constraints, both physical and governmental, that hinder freight movements in the region; and identify national freight trends and issues that affect freight movements in the NASTO region.
