To evaluate the ability of the Corelok vacuum sealing device for improving the determination of the bulk specific gravity of compacted HMA samples.

Comments

The final report on the Corelok has been reviewed by the pool members and edits have been made. National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) managed the research effort and they have an internal review they do before publishing the report. The report will be web published and located on our website: www.fhwa.dot.gov/pavement. A follow up rugginess study is being proposed by the pooled fund members, writing of the plan is underway.
